It's In The Air...

Last September I went to the Country Living Magazine Fall fair in Ohio.  I remember that tons of people were doing really fun things with "sticks with orange berries"...on the mantel, in baskets, floral arrangements with candles etc.  Well, this is our first fall in our new house and I look out my window yesterday and realize I have those orange berry sticks!  Hoorah!  Now I am stumped on what to do with these sticks!  I may dry them...bend them...I guess it's endless and in some way enhance my fall decor!  Any ideas? I know it's still August but fall is in the air for me already...can anyone say "pumpkin spice"?

I would just love to see them in a pretty ceramic vase on the mantle or something...kind of a wild arrangement. I am so jealous you have those in your yard!

Oooh, I can say pumpkin spice! :) If you have a lot of them, I would simply gather tons of them and put them in an arrangement. Put some long feathers in the vase with them and you're good! I wish I had some of those!

Well, I don't have any ideas for you, but I do love those "orange berry sticks" too! I wish they grew on our balcony (we live in a 3rd floor apartment, so no yard for us) LOL! :o)

P.S. Thanks for stopping by my blog! Oh, and if you click on the phrase underneath the picture of the bread, I linked to the recipe for it. It is our favorite all-wheat recipe, and we use it all the time. Yum! :o)
