Rusty Bird Feeder=New Soap Holder

I had this cute birdbath two houses ago out in my backyard.  This past week, I found it in a cabinet in my garage all rusty and ugly!  I saw it again on Friday and thought this could be something useful.  After reading so many blogs especially one of my favorite blogs called "JoysofHome.blogspot.com" who inspires me to paint anything and everything. I decided to spruce this "bath" up!
So I pulled out my cream spray paint and I went to work on the birdbath...a little sandpaper and a couple of coats of paint...I spruced this metal "bath" up!  I also had my girls cheering me on and admiring mommy at work.
After much thought, I decided this birdbath would have a special place in my downstairs bathroom.  Now, my soaps and lotions have a special "spot" in my new and improved birdbath.

That is such a great idea because I have this same thing on my back porch (except mine is on a pedestal) and it is soooooooo rusty. I'm going to spray paint it! Thanks!

Great idea for the birdbath. I looked back on some of your blog and you have a lovely blog. I was wondering, do you live on the water? The picture on your header is beautiful. We could use some water here in AZ!

You did a great job on that birdbath. Looks like brand new! If you ever want it just a bit worn looking , just take some sandpaper to a few areas of it to let the former color/rust show through.

I love it! Beautiful! I think I may just have to find an old birdbath somewhere...
