Works-For-Me Wednesday

Works -For-Me Wednesday is talking about our best Kitchen ideas! My best idea would be to have a full-time chef who will work for food and a hug! Well, that is not going to happen so I think the next best thing is being organized! I would say at least once a month I go around all the drawers and straighten up. On Sunday nights, before garbage, I go through the frig and cupboards and toss anything that needs to be tossed.

I love soaps and lotions plus anti-bacteria gel. Well, all three of those do not look great around my sink. So I bought a sweet basket to hold my three "products" next to my sink! It looks cleaner and neater!

You are making this look easy. And you know what, I really like that about this post. Great job on keeping it in order. Love the basket too.

I LOVE to organize and throw away things! Drives my husband crazy sometimes! It's just very therapeutic for me, oddly enough. I often get into "trouble", though, when Chris can't find something...he comes straight to me. I can't tell you the times I've had to dig through the garbage to find a scrap of paper he's written something "important" on. Hey, if it doesn't look like it's something that needs to be kept around, I chunk it, plain and simple! :}

I need a basket like the one you bought for my soaps and lotions. Love that idea!

I couldn't agree more. I think organization in the kitchen is key. I am working on organizing my kitchen as we speak. It is hard to figure out where everything should go to make the flow of the kitchen smoothly. I love the baskets. I too love all those products and feel it is too cluttered around the sink. I must go on a shopping hint for a basket.

Yes, organization is key....I am usually pretty good, but the tupperware drawer is always a mess....maybe because I always have a 2 year old digging around in there!!

I also am addicted to smelly hand soaps and lotions at the sink.....my fav is Willi@ms-Son@ma Olive Oil scent! The basket is a great idea....it looks so cute and neat!

Have a great day!

I am the queen of "OCD"! My family and co-workers are always making jokes because I organize everything. If it's out there I have a color coded list for it. I love the basket idea, I will have to borrow it. Thanks!

Very cute. I love baskets too. I consider myself a basket case. ;)
I love to organize too, my kitchen, closets, drawers...glad to know I am not the only weird one. :)

How do you come up with these easy ideas! I am doing that right now!
I hate dish soap sitting out, but it is always needed. I put my dish soap in a decorative bottle instead. Now it is in a basket! Easy idea! Love it!

I LOVE baskets too and it definitely is a handy way to hold things.

I like your baskets and your products, but I would definitely like it if you could get a full time chef that works for hugs! I really think you should advertise, because I am sure there is someone out there that would just LOVE to do that for you : ). Really!

Great ideas! I would love to have a chef, too - wouldn't that be awesome?

My kitchen pantry looks like a bomb went off - so hard to keep it organized!

Love your soaps basket - looks great!

That basket looks perfect! I've got all that stuff cluttering up my sink too. Oh, and could you come over and clean out my kitchen drawers too? They're a disaster!

You know, I really like that basket idea. I feel like I have lotions, soap for my hands, dishsoap, all cluttered around my sink like a little drugstore. This is a great idea! Thanks!!

HEY girl! I love throwing things away! I love organizing in baskets and pretty containers though!

Does your red headed little girl have green eyes? I love the pics of the kids to the side. They are all soooo gorgeous!

Have a good night!

I love your ideas! My refrigerator would be so much more organized/clean if I did what you do! I also really liked the idea of putting dish soap, lotion, etc. in a pretty basket. I am always going back and forth between the need to have these things near at hand and the desire to have a pretty kitchen! :)

I hope you have a wonderful day! :)

That basket is a really good idea. I hate that you need all those things, but they don't look so great. I ended up putting my dishwashing liquid in an olive oil cruet. Looks so much better than a bottle screaming "JOY!"

We put our soap in a clear dispenser like the red ones you find ketchup in (or yellow for mustard.) We dilute the antibacterial dish soap so it doesn't destroy my hands and voila! We don't have a lot of sink space so works for me!

The basket idea is great and cute! I also would LOVE to have a chef prepare all our favorite meals and clean everything up when he or she is finished. Better yet, I would love to just have the meals delivered so my kitchen stays clean!

I was watching Oprah the other day and she had an entire show dedicated to organizing. The organizing "specialist" had a great kitchen organizing idea. He said to put all your kitchen utensils in a box. When you use one you get to put it back in the drawer. If after a month you don't use it, get rid of it. Thought it seemed like a pretty good way to get rid of things you don't really need.

Have a great week and I really like your blog :)

I would rather organize than go shopping, I know, I'm crazy. I also love containers - this is great!
