Stir and Season Saturday

Stir and Season Saturday

If you read my blog often, I have mentioned my "love affair" for my crock pot. I have one in a box for back up..yes I do!! I use it at least every week and sometimes more. Guess what? You don't have to call Dominoes anymore...pizza in a crock pot!

Pizzzzaaaa Crock pot

8 or 10 inch flour tortillas

1 pound of ground beef

1 pkg of pepperoni

3 cup pkg of mozzarella cheese

Pizza sauce..2 jars

Parmesan cheese

Spray your crock pot with Pam...put a spoonful of sauce on the bottom; layer a flour tortilla, sauce, 1/4 meat, 1/4 cheeses; pepperoni; keep layering the ingredients...about four or five layers; put on low for 6 to 8 hours; You spoon it out!

Serve with a green/tomatoe salad...enjoy!

Ok, please don't stroke out on me. I have never cooked with a crockpot. I have one that is probably ten years old and it has never been used. I know, that is totally crazy, huh?

I have a back-up flat iron. LOL

I have my mother's OLD crock pot. I lov eit. I had a newer one, but didn't like it as much. We used it the other day to make a stew. Have you gone online and seen all of the cool, easy recipes? I'm on a scrap board that used to post them a lot..some great desserts, too! I should do a post on it one day.

I'm with you...I love my crock pot. You can buy inexpensive pieces of meat and make the most amazing meals out of them! I have a real big crock pot that the bowl insert comes out of it's heat source so you can just sit it right on the table and serve. I LOOOOVE it. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

I am going to have to get more creative with my crockpot, I have only used it for the usual things like pot roast or chili. I do use it to cook lots of chicken to use in other recipes.

Since I feel that we think/feel alike, on political things. I'm leaving a comment here. Though it's OT on this post. Sorry...

As for myself, I am scared, scared, scared by the outcome of this election. And since I have never felt this way before, in all my years in my Beloved Country... I had to make a blog, specifically for the purpose of trying to spread the word... That we must watch like hawks, what will be going on {and already is going on} in our Beloved Country.

I wanted to invite you to come by this new blog of mine, if you wish.

We will all need Courage! And the knowledge that there are others out here, who believe as we do, can be helpful also.

Thank you for allowing me to leave this comment here.
