Works For Me Wednesday-Organize Tip!!!

I love to organize...anything from kitchen utensils to closets. A great organizational bin, basket or book really excites me. One thing that I need to organize constantly is my craft room...it will be neat one minute and then a total mess the next! I have so much ribbon...in so many nooks and crannies.

Well, I found a great way to store ribbon that actually HOLDS UP!!! I have had the cardboard box holders with the hole for the ribbon to the poles that you slip the ribbon on...they break or get crushed! I found these sturdy ribbon plastic boxes that stack, sturdy and hold a lot of ribbon. It even comes with dividers if you really want to be an organized "freak"! I found these at the Container Store! Ours just opened this weekend! As I walked in, shocks of excitement were going through my body...it's a wonder world of every type of organizational "tool" you can imagine!!! They have the best stocking stuffers!

This ribbon holder Works For Me and so does a trip to the container store!

I love this. Now I really wish that we had a container store.

I have my ribbon on wooden dowels and they always come unraveled, it makes me really mad. I have to remember to tape the ends, but that can be annoying too.

Ohhh that's so exciting! I love organization, haha! I'm such a dork! Now that I'm getting more ribbon too, I think I need that :)

I have to stay organized also. I am not a crafty person so I don't have things like ribbon to keep organized. I wish we had an organization store around here.

I've never heard of one of those stores, but I would be one of their best customers. I want a ribbon container.

Talk about a neat little gadget! Unfortunately, we don't have a Container Store around our neck of the woods. Would you believe that I've never even heard of one? I do have lots of ribbon, though, so your little organizer would work wonders for me!

Have a wonderful Wednesday! :) Check out my blog...you've won an award!

I would need about 20 of those for my unhealthy ribbon obsession! Have a great day.

I love this... much more tidy than the other ribbon holders I have seen. No container store here but it is always on my list of places to go when I am in Atlanta.

I LOVE the Container Store! And wish I lived near one!

I'm dying to get my craft things organized - but our house was on the market this summer/fall and I had to empty my closets - so my craft things went to 3 different friend's garages (and I got used to the empty space!) But since seing all of your crafty things on your blog, I can't wait to get my hands on my "stuff" again! :-)

My fondest memory of the container store was when I was about to go to college and my mom took me there to get stuff to make my tiny dorm room more functional....it was WAY too much fun.

I would buy one of those just to have a reason to buy ribbon. I too, love to be organized and would go crazy in that store!

Did you hear the angels sing when you walked in the front door? I know I do when I find a new store that makes my life easier! Also tell me how you use Thousand Island on your taco salad. I like that kind of dressing but never thought to put it with taco's.

Oh, that is a terrific idea! Ribbon is one thing that is hard to store in a organized way. Now for the container store...we have a Storables nearby, but I don't know about a container one. :)

Have a wonderful day! :)

Emily said...

Thanks for sharing. Does it hold all sizes of ribbon bolts? That's the problem I've encountered one container will hold one size, but not another?

Funny you mentioned Container Store! I'm on my way there as soon as I reclaim my laundry room. Right now it's a station for taking down Fall and will be soon ready to be my Christmas dec station. It is in major need of an overhaul!
Very cool idea! Gosh I love that store!

Oh my, I'd love to visit a container store. That is my idea of heaven! I am glad you found something that works for your collection. I don't have quite enough ribbon to warrant an organization tool, but I'm working on it!

(We are free anytime to come down for a visit!) Ok-Container Store, and Hobby Lobby-I don't have one of those either, and I think I need to visit one because everyone with a blog seems to mention it...Let's see-we can't come during Thanksgiving, but any other one will do!
