"Home Where We Finally Roam!"

Whew...we are home!!! It has been packed with activities, "family", holiday activities and much more. Here are a few pictures from our trip...we visited my in-laws on the coast of N.C.! I have over 600 pictures from this trip but I picked a few quickly!

Are you ready for the New Year? I am! I think I may even try to get some Christmas decorations down tomorrow and a few loads of laundry...mmm..I wish only a "few"! Can't wait to visit all your blogs and see what you all have been up to the past week!

The grandchildren made gingerbread cookies with their Aunt Tina. She is truly creative and full of fun! My kids love her ! She is so talented...wish she had a blog!

Nice photos, the beach looked beautiful. We took a couple of our grands on a road trip one year and one of the stops was the Outer Banks, it was amazing. Those kids are just beautiful.

Everyone looks happy and relaxed. I love the shots on the beach. Did I see an American Doll box? That was always a huge highlight when my daughter was younger. She still has her dolls displayed in her room. Walkie Talkies were a big hit here years ago as well.

Enjoy the thrill of return. Nothing says "welcome home" like a never ending pile of laundry! :)

Oh yeah! SO glad you had a great time. You and I will be doing laundry together today. Good luck to you! I'm up to my eyeballs in it! LOL

I'll be taking things down today too - trying to get back in to the swing of things. But I may do a little decor for New Year's, we'll see. I'm ready for the new year and all the excitement it brings. Have a great day getting things settled back in!

Glad you're back! It sounds like a wonderful time in NC. I will have to show my son your pics. He was born on the UNC campus, loves NC and wants to attend college there.

I remember the days of American Girl and walkie talkies. Now Santa brings a massage and a GPS.
