Just What Santa Ordered...

What is it about Christmas that makes simple things seem so "magical".... the season of Christmas makes everything more special...a little more spark...a little more glitter!

The girls and I sat down and enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate with a peppermint stick and lots of big marshmallows. We watched one of our favorite videos..."The Snowman".

It is a sweet little movie about a boy who loves the snowman he built...it's a true delight!

Many bloggers have been writing about the "simple" things of the season. It is hard for me to remember that sometimes but how true it is!!! Enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and good Christmas video with someone you love this weekend...Don't forget the peppermint stick!!!

Can you guess what other movie we will be watching this weekend? You can "hear" it:)! Love the Sound of Music...I could almost hop on my bed and twirl around! NO, I have not been "hitting" the egg nog!

***Update: If you are southern or you wish you were...Today, you have to stop over at Life On Grace. This is such a great blog and she posted such a hilarious post today. I loved it! I told her she should "publish" it!

My grand daughter Kaylin and I have been hitting the hot cocoa a lot. She loves having a little cocoa with her whip cream on top (lots and lots of whip cream). I'll have to look the snowman movie up, it sounds great. We love watching the Home Alone movie.

There's nothing better than just that...watching holiday movies and enjoying hot chocolate.

We have a similar tradition: we pick an evening to drive around and look at c-mas lights, and we have a big mug of hot chocolate with us. Very simple, but wonderful.

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, What a fun thing to do for your kids & you... We have a collection of Christmas movies but that is not one... I'll be sure to look for it... We love trying to watch at least one holiday movie a day during the month of December... With it being so hectic around the holidays it is nice to kick back and relax... Your kids are so adorable...
