Back to Normal???

It's Tuesday Morning! Everyone is back to school{yesterday I had one home with the stomach flu)...back to work! So here I am! Trying to remember my normal schedule..what is Normal? I am not sure!

But, today, I am going to try my new Starbucks coffee press! I have heard it makes a "killer" cup of coffee...of course, with cream and sugar..maybe a squirt of carmel...well, and a scoop of "cool whip"! {Remember, I don't make New Year's resolutions!}

Do you any of you have a coffee press? I know Ruby Red Slippers does! After reading her post, I put that on my list! She made it sound like the best cup of coffee...I couldn't resist! I love a great cup of coffee so excuse me while I "press"! Of course, on second thought I have two Starbucks gift cards...maybe I should just do "drive thru"..mmmmm!

What Christmas gift are you "dying" to try out or use???

P.S. HINT for The 12th "Giveaway"--------->it's "container" is hard and every container is shaped the same

Happy Tuesday!

I have always wanted to try some of that pressed coffee. I got a digital photo keychain. I still have to figure it out and load it with pics.

I've never tried a coffee press...I'm not a coffee drinker, but Chris is. I can't wait to hear what you think about it, though! You may just have to open up your own coffee shop!

My BIL got me one of those nifty digital photo frames that hold 8,000 pictures. I'm dying for my husband to put it all together for me...way too complicated for me to figure out!

I used a coffee press when I visited England several years back. Unfortunately, back then, I wasn't a coffee drinker. Might have to try it, I always think it looks so glamorous!

I received a new cookie sheet from Williams Sonoma--the really nice kind that nothing can stick to...I love it and I'm convinced it makes a better batch of cookies!

Hope you'll let us know how the coffee press worked - haven't tried one before.

I'm looking forward to a little R&R at Starbucks this week, too! :-)

Hope you have a great "normal" day...my family went back to the normal routine yesterday and I felt like I had so much time but got so little done! I am not a coffee drinker so I can't help you out with the coffee press.

Yay for normal....we were back to normal for one day. My oldest is home from school today with pink eye and then we have a big storm brewing for tomorrow so school will most likely be cancelled. Oh well. Maybe this is the new normal!

I don't drink coffee but I would really like a cocoa/latte type maker. Yum, yum!! Enjoy your press and gift cards!

I'm glad you've gotten something that you are so excited about. Your little teaser about the giveaway has me curious!

I don't drink coffee, but my husband sure does! He would probably like me to get one of these for him. I do like to smell coffee brewing. I go to Starbucks for hot chocolate.

I am having an old chair re-covered. It is a Christmas gift that's not quite finished. I can't wait to use that to curl up with a good book.

Can't wait to try out my new Chicken cooker, it is the same concept as the beer can chicken except with stoneware that has the liquid resevoir in it.

Enjoy the coffee press!

My grandparents used to have a coffee press...I bet it is good.
I only got 2 gifts this year. We did not exchange gifts...so I got a T-shirt from my oldest and it is too small, so I am giving it BACK to her....my youngest made me my very own "shank".
So, I have been shanking everyone in the house who gets on my nerves. :)
It is quite the stress reducer.

Enjoy your coffee press. My hubby got the family a scanner for Christmas. I can't wait to learn how to scan pictures on it.

Well-What did you think??? When you add enough cream-like you and I do-it's not so bad, huh???
I like this way the best-the taste is richer, I think!
See you after the 19th-

Love the feel of your blog. :) Isn't that quote from a novel? I swear I read it but I'm really bad about remembering (which is bad because I, too, am a teacher!).

I think I have a coffee press somewhere. I'm addicted to my bunn coffee maker, though, and a coffee press takes too long!

Thanks for visiting my blog today.

Oh fun can't wait to hear how you like the press!

Definately curious about the coffee press...How does it work? As much as I like to drink coffee, I'm an amatauer when it comes to making it.

I used to have a coffee press... but my ex husband got it in the divorce! lol I am DYING to try out my new carpet cleaner. I am waiting until the kids go back to school so the carpet has all day to dry before they go tromping all over it. My carpet is disgusting and it's begging to be cleaned.

My purchase that I have been using over and over again since Christmas...is my brand-new 50mm 1.4 rockin' lens! It's been so much fun to practice my photography with.

Your description of your favorite coffee ingredients really makes me wish that I liked coffee...but alas, I can't stand the stuff. Poor me.

I do not own a coffee press, but I used to work in a coffee shop and have had several yummy cups of coffee made with one..They are fantastic!

Christmas gifts...Hmm..I couldn't wait to break out the Wii Fit...I did, and now I am sore! Maybe I should have ask for a coffee press! *smiles*

Yum! Will you let us know how it works? I actually have a coffee press too, but often don't take the time to use it. My sister just got me a little gadget that whips the milk before you add it to the coffee. A lot easier to clean and use...so I will have to give it a try and let you know what I think! But adding the Cool Whip is a MUST! :)

I am currently addicted to my Espresso machine "Sirena" she's my favorite for the best lattes!!! It was my ALL time favorite gift from hubby last year for Christmas- it's from Starbucks!!! It had to be cause I was addicted to my coffee runs!
Hope you like your coffee (and thanks for the visit.. I'm still working on the pantry but took a coffee break!!!

My mother got me a sewing machine and I cant wait (to get motivated) to drag it out!

I couldn't wait to use my hand blender. I made split pea soup the other day and instead of transfering it to a countertop blender I just stuck the hand blender in the pot. It was much easier. Take Care!

Somehow, "coffee" and "best" just don't go together for me. Now, "hot chocolate" and "best" - THAT I could understand! *grin*
At any rate, I hope you enjoyed a bit of normalcy with your coffee.

Looks like you have to let a lot of people know how that press turned out. I will be keeping posted right a long with them I guess. I've been using my gift certificates at the drive thru too:) That will have to do for now, and I'm not complaining.

Sounds fabulous! I'd use that gift card to get the last Pumpkin Spice Latte!

I'm dying to get through my new cook books! It's been fun so far!

You'll have to update on how the press works; I'm just happy being able to set the timer and have a nice pot of coffee ready for me in the morning. I'm SO techno...
As for gifts, I actually am enjoying one that my son got; a rock driller! I love to make jewelry, and I have some pretty stones that I got at a mineral museum last year. So, I'm going to make a few pendants and then create some necklaces... fun!
