Works For Me Wednesday-Special "K"

Okay..even though I have said "no resolutions for me in 2009"..I am trying to eat healthier and take better care of myself. Being at the ripe old age of "36"...I am starting not to bounce back as quickly, more headaches , cold weather is starting to affect me more...let's not go on with this. So..

I am the type of person who could eat m&m's before 7:30am and enjoy it. However, that would not go very well with my "eating healthy" pursuits. But, I found something that WORKS FOR ME...Special K! I know what you are thinking..Special K??? Not your normal, "blah" Special K?

CHOCOLATE DELIGHT Special "K"

It is so crunchy and has a perfect "chocolate" taste with little chocolate chunks! This is a keeper for me and I am not even a "cereal" eater! This sound like a "commercial for Kelloggs but when you find something "tasty" and "healthy"that even has "chocolate chunks" in it with low calorie..I am screaming it from the hilltops!

p.s. 12th GIVEAWAY Hint #2------> It's container is almost ALWAYS shaped like a...

Will definately be trying Special K.

Is it Valentine's Chocolate's? It fits the hints anyway.

I have been wanting to try that... I've heard mix reviews but I must try it. :-)

Not a big fan of the healthy cereals. That's a plus that it has chocolate in it!

I do eat a Special K cereal, it's the pecan one. I just love that one. Now, i'm going to buy this one, since I'm addicted to chocolate, I think this would work for me.Thanks.

Just don't get the Special K Protien Plus. My mom gave me some and I was all excited about the fiber and protien content--tastes like cardboard. Seriously. It's so sad.

I like this cereal too :-) It's not exactly gourmet chocolate flavored LOL but hey... chocolate is chocolate, right?

I also use it as an emergency snack (LOL) when I'm dying to eat a real chocolate bar or ice cream. It's a much better alternative --- well, diet-wise anyway.

PS Hate to break it to you. But as a new contender in "Club 40", I have to tell you... it can and does get so much worse *maniacal laugh*.

It sounds yummy - I love the kind with red berries too!

I just realized you are giving us clues to something......

I love me some M&M's first thing in the morning, especially if they are peanut.
I've seen the Special K--good to know it's yummy!

Oh why eat cereal with chocolate if you can just eat... chocolate! What? No Snickers bars before 7:30 a.m.? It's the BEST breakfast... tee hee!

You have an adorable blog here... will definitely be back. Visiting from SITS... see you around!

I'll eat anything with chocolate! I especially like the vanilla almond Special K though too. Have you tried that one yet?

And I say every once in awhile M&M's for breakfast aren't so bad:)

I do not like cereal at all. But...putting chocolate in it? That would probably help a bit. :)

I know what you mean about the reaching your later 30's and not bouncing back as quickly. Urgh! I really don't like that part of growing older at all.

I love anything chocolate, but I would probably be "forced" to eat the whole box. LOL! Thus defeating the purpose. ;-)

I'm thinking that your giveaway is some type of chocoate goodness! :-)

Sheila

Okay, so we "36-year-olds" have to stick together! I think that the Special K cereal sounds divine and it would satisfy my chocolate craving. I simply have to get off the last of this baby weight before my metabolism slows down any more! Thanks for the tip!

Wow, I haven't tried this! Is it really healthy? I love cereal. My whole family does. There are literally 14 boxes of it in our pantry right now!! I eat it for breakfast and then as a late night snack around 10:30 PM, much better for my weight than the dessert I used to eat!
