My {Favorite}Blog Friday

Today, I am featuring a blog that I "stalked" before I had a blog. Every post is full of the most amazing decorating ideas. Of course, this amazing and creative lady uses lots of "reds" and "toiles" plus a few French roosters....my favorite!I just want to bubble wrap my teapot and teacup and fly over to her house . Sipping a cup of tea in midst of all her beautiful "things" and suck some of that {creative juices} from her. Who is this amazing blogger?

The Happy HomebodyHer ideas are so simple but beautiful. Happy Homebody says she loves blogs that talk about "decorating" and how to do cheap, easy projects. She was hooked on a few "decor" blogs and then decided to do her own. AND WE ARE SO GLAD SHE DID!!!

Here are a few examples...I wanted to post every picture on her blog!

Her blog will "awe" you and the next thing you know you will be holding a can of spray paint and a strand of ribbon!

Now I just want to go hide in a corner. I'll have to wait quite a few more years before my house can look like that. And I'll also need a live in housekeeper.

I have been reading your blog (along with several other favorites)every day since fall of last year. I usually just read but don't comment. Your's is defintely on my "must see" list, and I have often thought about commenting, especially after I realized that we also have homeschooling in common. I homeschool my 10 and 7 year old. Well, just had to comment today because the blog that you are featuring is the one who got me into blogs (and spending countless hours on the computer late at night) in the first place. It belongs to my best friend from high school. In fact, she has come over to my house to take pictures a couple of times (fall dec. and Valentines) to post on her blog. She is such a special person, and trust me, her house is just as cute in person!

I love what the first commenter has said. I've sat out my Saturday morning blogging around the world, while my children play around my feet - and am starting to feel a little guilty... but... just...one...more... Her pictures do prick my curiosity...

Loved your post about the handbag, as we call them. And your "pretty in pink" purse!!! I WANT one!!!;) It's gorgeous!

And I so wish we had... oh, now I've forgotten the name of it... but, that organic store... I wish we had one of those over here... they are few and far between in Australia and oh, so pricey. Yours looked so wholesome and pretty...

Have a wonderful weekend.
