Stir and Season Saturday

"Stir and Season" Saturday

On Monday, I talked about my coffee punch and mentioned I posted it. However, I came to find out that I posted my peppermint punch...thanks for all the emails and all you poor "souls" who searched my blog for it. Sorry!

So here is the recipe for the most DELICIOUS creamy punch ever. Even people who dislike coffee...like this! This was served at my rehearsal dinner...years ago...when I was young....wink!

If you make it, let me know what you think!!!

Coffee Punch

The night before mix these ingredients; bring to a soft boil; stir till everything is dissolved; put in frig overnight.

4 cups of sugar

4 cups of water

1/4 cup of instant coffee

The next day, one hour before your event, in a punch bowl mix the following items;

One gallon of French vanilla ice cream

1/2 gallon of QUIK (the bunny one) chocolate milk

stir in coffee syrup from frig

Enjoy!

p.s. There are times that I double this recipe and think there will be some left...there never is!

As you may know it's my Sat. to catch up on my blog reading and I have really enjoyed reading your posts. The recipe you gave sounds dee-lish!!!! Love all the ingrediants so it's a must try in my house! Thrift stores love them love them love them. Did I mention that I love them? It is my second home. My house is made up of thrift store finds. Ruby Red keeps getting on to me for not posting about all my finds. I will get to it I promise. The vase and the rim of that plate was beautiful! So pop pop goes the bubbles. I love those kind of moments with my girls. Giggles and Grins a wonderful day to remember! And I will end on one of my all time favorite verses: "Be still and know that I am God." There's a certain peace that falls over me when I say that verse out loud. God is good whether it's sunny skies or troubled waters!!!! Take care and have a blessed weekend!

You'd be impressed. I actually took out a recipe card and wrote down the punch recipe! That's an amazing feat for the undomesticated wife! ;) And where it says "recipe from" I wrote "Sandy Toes." :D

I looked but didn't see the recipe for the peppermint punch.
