Almost threw It Away...

I am going through a MAJOR Spring Cleaning CRAZ...you know the kind where you feel like you must get rid of everything. Well, I came across an old watering can in my basement and almost put it in the "Goodbye" pile.

That same day I purchased another can of "chalkboard" paint...love that stuff. I was thinking back to a blog I saw that took an "old" drawer...chalk painted it and used it as a planter. I looked back at that watering can and had an idea!

Before:

After:

Can you tell I am "gearing"up for Spring???

p.s. This is my "200th" post today...can't believe it! ...you may want to stop by tomorrow!

Don't you just love taking what could have been your trash and turning it into a real treasure?
I love the chalkboard water can. It would look so cute nestled in some plants with a message that said. "grow."
Or how about on your kitchen counter with a note that says, "Wat-er you have?" (BAD pun)

Oh my goodness. I was just over visiting Ruby Red and was telling her what all I miss when I don't get on for a few days. And then I visit your blog and I just can't read enough of it. It's 9:30 at night, my 8 year old is still waiting for me to tuck her in and I can't break away from looking at your beautiful laundry room. What's wrong with me!!!!!! I am a red and black and toile kind of girl. I'll have to show you pics of my bathroom. Love the night light. I need one for my room. Where did you find that one? Take care!!!
