Blow out a Candle~

This Sunday....I turn 37! 37!!!!!!! I remember when my mom turned 37...man, she was old!

This is the first birthday that I have received "old" cards ...you know the ones that say things like~

"Your idea of happy hour is a NAP"

or

"When you wake up in the morning...you do look like your driver's license picture"

or

"Your idea of a night out is sitting on the patio"

or

"People think you have become more patient but in reality you just don't care anymore"

So instead of getting all "sappy" and "philosophical" ...I am going to enjoy turning 37...probaly blow out a candle or two..open homemade cards from my children { I know they have been up to something b/c they were cutting and pasting behind closed doors}...maybe relax and read a good book but I am going to try to "welcome" this new number and not "fight" it and wish myself a little ole' happy birthday...
