Our Day Trip...

We went to the special butterfly show downtown.....they were beautiful. My daughter and I were a bit "jumpy" when they flew around us. She warmed up to the idea of the butterflies landing on her hands, however, I was a bit timid. My daughter's little friend who came with us was very brave...which boosted my daughter in holding a butterfly, too!

I enjoyed looking at the beautiful butterflies....

It was fun when they released new butterflies...perfect example of God's amazing creation...

We have a large botanical garden here that does a butterfly exhibit every year. It really is amazing to have them land on you and see the many varieties.

We've been to a butterfly aviary in the Cayman Islands and it was so fascinating to be surrounded by hundreds of butterflies from all over the world. Definitely a highlight of our trip. So happy you and your kids had such a fun time "visiting" with all those beautiful creatures!

We went and to a butterfly exhibit in our big city. I could not get them to land on my finger at all. One did land on my rearend and my husband got a picture of it. The only time I can get my family to go places like this with me is Mother's Day or my birthday.
Love the pictures of the girls with the butterflies. What a fun thing to do. They are a perfect example of God's amazing creation. I so agree.

One summer when we were in Chattanooga for baseball. We visited the Tennessee Aquarium and they have a butterfly room. It was the most beautiful thing. Hundreds of butterflies flying all around you. It does make you think of all the amazing things God has created.

We have a butterfly "museum" near us. I must admit, it is a bit disconcerting at first when you walk in and they are flying all around you, but after you get used to it, it's simply amazing!

I was out of town this weekend, but just read your Favorite Blog Friday post. THANKS so much!!!

I'm honored!

xoxo
