This Father's Day, Mr. Sandy Toes wanted to do the same thing we did last year which was rent a boat for the afternoon. So we were off on the {seas} well, NOT really it's more of a long, winding lake where you need to be careful not to get stuck in seaweed if you get too close.
However, it's fun and the kids love to drive the boat {with a bit of help}.
After we got off the boat...the marina has a cute little water spout park. It was a REALLY hot day so it was not too busy.
So the girls danced in the water!
We finished the day off with some sprinkle ice cream!

It looks like you had a great time!!! I miss water sprout places and those ice creams look soo good... I love the fact they look like they are melting :)
I made "burgers and fries" for the boys...(which was really a dessert) they loved it.

Ahh, ice cream with sprinkles! I do believe Mr. Sandy Toes had a wonderful day! My husband was coaching a ballgame in Chattanooga so we did not really celebrate. I have been away with friends so I will try to blog a little this evening after going to the ballgame, if not before. Gosh it's hot here. Not sure why I'm going to the ballgame. It will be torture!

You can never beat a boat trip when you're looking for a fun time! That ice cream looks scrumptious! What a beautiful family you have! Would love to see you in some of the pictures, too!

What a fun time you all had! We are heading out to a vacation at Lake MI later this summer and my kids can't wait to laze their days away swimming and fishing. I can't wait either! :)
