Our bedtime around here is getting later and later-So sleeping in is too! I have enjoyed these more quiet early mornings to gather my thoughts-
to pray-
to read-
I make a little "morning" drink and go outside in my bare feet and sit around the pool-
The quietness is usually broken by my middle child yelling my name as though I am hiding or something. When she finds me...she goes back to being "all" sleepy to snuggle up and maybe try to dip her toes in the pool-
It's the same every morning but that is what makes it so good~

I admit I prefer mornings...after hubby goes to work and before my girlies get up from their slumber (and endless slumber party- they have their own bedrooms but they've been "camping" out in one bedroom this entire summer). I like the little bit of solitude and down time with a cup of coffee.
I love the early morning when my little sleepyheads are still in bed - so peaceful (for a while).
Early morning when it's still dark and I'm the only one up.
I'm a morning person, so I'd have to say that's my favorite time of day so I can collect my thoughts before the house gets rowdy. Of course, I do love hearing my girls' voices, too. I'm sure going to miss them when school starts soon!

We have also been up later and sleeping in...my favorite time of day? Right now, all of the day is my favorite..but that will change when we go back to school!

I too enjoy my quiet mornings out on my swing on the back porch.
I love bedtime...when I close the door on the two little ones...Dr. Hubby gets home...and we "veg out" on the couch watching silly reality tv.
That is sweet! So nice to enjoy those quiet moments and snuggles together!

Whenever my kids stay up late, they seem to wake up earlier. I don't get it at all! I love that you've found this quiet time in the morning for yourself...that's lovely.
We are in the same late night late morning routine. I was just telling my husband last night that it's time to start getting on schedule for the upcoming school year.

My favorite time is the last 30 minutes before I fall asleep. It's a nice quiet time. Winding down time. ME time. ~Mindy
My favorite time of day is when the house is picked up. It is a zen moment that only happens bi monthly.
When all is still quite, before my son wakes up, I try to call one or two friends a week. These are special people, who for the pure need of their children to eat, found it necessary (debatable) to move away for employment .. ha ha .. all the same .. I love to catch up with them in peace and quiet!
Definitely early morning. If I can get a cup of coffee in my system and some much needed quiet time with God in before I hear the thump, thump, thump of my little one coming down the stairs, I know it will be a great day.
I love the morning too! My favorite moment is when I hear my daughter stirring in her crib. I go in and she greets me with a smile every day! It melts my heart!
i love the morning... and the stillness of it all!
We do the late night/late morning routine as well since my husband works nights. I found it is easier to keep children quiet if they are sleeping too. lol My fav time is when I get up before everyone else and am able to get my quiet time in first. My day just goes so much better when I spend time with HIM to start it off.
