Sand Between Our Toes

On our trip....there was a lot of sand (some in my bed)-

Trips to get ice cream (maybe a little too much)-

Watched fireworks, lit sparklers and went to 4th of July parade (bags full of candy)

Walking the beach(should of done it more)-

Meeting up with old friends (go here and see who I saw!!!)

Playing with beach toys(even ones made from their great-grandfather)

Floated in the cool lake and splashed the day away

Swinging on swings(with a couple of "boo boos" along the way)

Sharing special moments with those we love....

Summer, please, don't end!

p.s. My son and his "Papa" went fly fishing for 5 days...wish I had pictures!

Stopping by from SITS...I love your header and the pics of your adorable children! Ah, to feel the sand between my toes...this is Scotland, we do get sunshine but not enough to actually plan a day to the beach. We have to be spontaneous!
Lovely to meet you.

What summer fun filled days you shared! They remind me of going to Gaylord and staying with my grandparents. Hope you have a few more before summer ends.

When I was younger, we vacationed in Michigan, on the lakes, several times. It is beautiful up there! Wishing I had some sand in between my toes--we stayed inland this year!

Beach memories and summer time fun are my FAVORITE! The older I get the longer I want summer... the feeling in the air is so much more relaxed. Your trip looked wonderful! Enjoy your company, I bet it's so fun coming to your house! and can't wait to see what you painted!
My mugs came from Anthropologie online {i got 6 of them} I know I couldn't resist... you can come over anytime for a cup of coffee or tea!!

Looked down your blog and saw the green kettle...love it! I have the cream one and had the firey red one last time. I almost bought the green.
