This week is truly the first week since the beginning of June where my kids may come to me and say "I am bored!"...it's been so busy!
I have had some time to catch up on emails and start getting dates down...
In my despair...I realized that August is starting to get full of "back to school" things...practices...and a few more practices...camps....
Is it true??
Summer feels like it's coming to an end...quicker than I want....
Please tell me that in my mail pile on the kitchen island is NOT the Lands End Back to School catalogue...
Tell me it isn't "so"!

Time is going crazy fast!
We have already bought supplies and have been shopping for uniforms! Not quiet finished but soon enough.
I know right? It just flies by so fast and before you know it you've had time to do nothing really with them and school is starting again. Its Crazy!
Love and Prayers,
Tim
The Dollar Tree had Halloween decor out! eek!
I do love buying back to school stuff though.
Sad, isn't it? I saw my first back to school flyer on Sunday. Why does summer always speed by quicker than winter?
Oh boy...do I ever feel the same way! And it's been so cool here that it doesn't feel like summer anyway (I shouldn't complain).
I got my Land's End backpack catalogue as well.....sigh.
Summer is going by way too fast.
NOoooo! I don't even want to hear those words!
Summer is flying by and we haven't really had a total break from school stuff yet. I hope I'll be ready to start back up in a few weeks!
I know exactly what you mean! My girls start back on Aug. 10th and I'm like an ostrich with it's head in the sand...in complete denial!
Time goes so fast and the older you get the faster it goes... I have no school kids at home anymore but I know my daughters are feeling the time coming up really fast... Have fun shopping!!!

I know what you mean. When we get back from the beach, it's August! Then tax free shopping for school supplies, clothes. Ahh...where's the pause button for summer?
We start back August 3rd! I am sad...it goes so fast. We were just in Ohio and most of them don't go back until 28 Aug. Are you in Cincinatti? Something just gives me that idea. We drove through there on our way to Columbus and it's such a neat town.
I like those chairs by your pool. What a fun idea and cheap to paint rocks...guess what my kids will do today or tomorrow.
It is so. :(
When I my kids say they are bored, I give them a dust rag and send them to work!!!
I can't believe summer's almost over and we've hardly done anything. I feel like I've wasted it. At least my kids are starting to excited about the backpacks and school supplies on display.
I feel the same way - Hobby lobby has their Christmas stuff. I couldn't even look at it.
Wow...I guess so. I don't really ever have a "summer" so, I don't keep track of it, but I did hear an "end of the season" commercial the other day..yikes!
m ^..^
I made a sincere effort to soak in every hour of every day between June and August, if only to try and make the summer stretch out a bit longer. It shrank instead. Sigh...
I haven't heard those dreaded words yet....I have a feeling I might next week. Lexi has had the play practice and this week we are on a "stay" cation. I absolutely can't believe how fast August and back to school is coming!!!
Afraid so - the summer has flown by. I don't mind so much since we homeschool & I'm kind of ready to get the kids back on a schedule. Enjoy browsing through that catalog.
The summer certainly has blown by. I already see school supplies out in the stores!
Enjoy what is left of the summer.
It just flies by way too fast, I agree!
Sandy Toes,
I too, feel like summer is coming to an end all too quickly. I am trying to postpone back to school shopping as long as possible this year.
Obviously from my latest post you can tell that I have been inside too much these last couple of days because I just walked outside and it is humid! I needed to do a little "editing" on my post so thank you for the weather update! Yes, it does feel like summer now!
Have a great day!
This can't be happening. You love this time of year. I hope for all things to go slow for you :)
Oh yeah -- we got the list of needed school supplies yesterday! Back to school shopping already! Only 1 month left until school starts here! Enjoy the rest of the summer vacay!
Janet
i got mine last week!
and the crayons & notebooks are out in full force.
sad... i am not ready to see summer go...
not ready here either!
Can't believe it has happened so fast.
I feel the same way...it's been so busy and crazy and it's not slowing down any time soon. The summer is almost over!
Summer flies by WAY too quickly! But my boys and I have had a BLAST! Enjoy the rest of your summer :)
I was just thinking the other day that I can't believe it's almost August!!!!
And to the person who said Dollar Tree has Halloween stuff out...Hobby Lobby has aisles of Christmas stuff already!!! Eek! LOL
I don't even feel like we've had summer here. It only just got warm...my kids didn't get out of school until the END of June...we're headed out of town in a week, and when we get back I have to get everything ready for the kids to be back in class! What happened to the leisurely days of summer?
You are so right it is going crazy fast~
Love your blog by the way!
Oh Sandy Toes I feel the same way... I am use to all the summer stuff now and I dont want it to end... I'm not ready to order book bags, supplies etc... or sign the endless amounts of paper work that comes home from school!I don't want pool season to end!

I was telling my husband that this summer seems to be flying by. I haven't blogged much. The past two weeks I've had limited internet access. I've been to Birmingham, Nashville and now Sevierville, TN. Next week it's SC and NC, then back to Mississippi and finally TX. I have visited family and I'm taking Brett to college baseball camps so the coaches can get a look at him. I'll visit on here when I can.
It is so hard to believe that the summer is almost gone. It took so long for it to arrive here in the NE and before we know it will be gone.

Ms. Toe, I'm afraid time is moving at the speed of light. Summer will soon be a distant drumbeat, but then fall starts with all sorts of exciting things.
XO,
Sheila
I just got bombarded with "Back To School" catalogs! LOL And while I don't have any schoole aged little ones...yet...all of those adorable back packs are so hard to resist!!! LOL
I wish I could say it wasn't but it's coming faster than I would like!!!
Blessings,
Robin
I can't believe we are nearing the end of July. Summer always goes by too fast!
Jo
I agree! This summer is flying by so quickly that I can hardly fit all I had planned to do, in.
I have commented very little during the last few weeks, but I am reading all the time! :o)
Have a nice day.
