The past two days have been so rainy.... honestly, a blessing for a bit-
I have been completely organizing my 3 kids closets and dressers...it's ONE BIG
job~
Between organizing clothes for seasons....sIzEs and everything else that finds it's way into there!
Tomorrow, I will sell some of my clothes to the local consignment shop...it's always fun to see how much I can get-
It's a job that MUST be done {maybe only once a year} but sure feels good when it's done!
What is one job around the house you dread to do but FEEL great when it's done???

You know, it depends on the house. Each place has something I hate doing. Here, it's the bathrooms...ugh. Against my better judgment, I'm going to participate in our little town's area garage sale this Saturday in the hopes of unloading a few more things before we pack up (again) in about 5 months!
Laundry. It is my NEMESIS. I HATE doing it but I especially hate folding it. UGH!! But the bad thing is that it is NEVER done. There is always laundry. Boo!!
Good Morning... I agree with you doing closets and drawers which tend to get very crowded are the worst... BUT it has to be done especially when you have kids. Have a great day...

Oh I just did the same thing last weekend. I was surprised to see what all Kayla has grown out of. Unfortunately her uniforms were too small. But she was glad to go shopping for more.
Good for you, a great accomplishment! I've been meaning to do that for a while now.
My big project that I HATE with a passion is taking down all of the curtains and washing them. HATE it! But it has to be done (they get so dusty!). And cleaning baseboards. Ugh. But when it's done, I'm so happy!
Wow, that looks good!
My dreaded job - cleaning the bathroom. Oh how I dread it, but once it's done I feel like a new woman. :)
This is so funny because we have been doing the SAME thing here. I think I get more satisfaction out of a clean closet than the kids, but they will be able to find things now. at least for a while!
Oh, I, too, have been organizing and cleaning out "stuff" like crazy! I'll be heading off to Goodwill in the morning. I feel like a new woman already#
I really need to follow your example and reorganize drawers and closets too!

We have been working on Lexi's closet. It is a mess! I am getting everything out for a garage sale we are having on Aug 1st and then I have a consignment sale that I put her clothes in. Hopefully, I make LOTS of money!!!
I don't think anyone who is NOT a mom can understand all the hard work you are doing-that is how I feel about the kids clothes and organization...someone has to do it, and it is me, too. However-I agree with you-making a little extra at the consignment shop makes me feel like I got a reward!
I also read your post following this one-on decisions-I will pray that God gives you guidance...those decisions are the hardest when you don't know which way to go... :)
Can you come organize my closet????
Stopping by from SITS!
Good job. I actually really like going through closets and getting rid of stuff. The chore I hate the most is vacuuming but when it's done... I'm happy!
Same as the one you just described. We just did this to my daughter's entire room two weeks ago, and it's like a breath of fresh air every time I see her room, drawers, and closet! Now, if we could just keep it that way. Son's room is next, and I double dread it!!!
My basement...I have gotten bad lately and just have the kids take things down there and put them on tables. Not good! It's going to be my big project after the kids go back to school. It will be great to have it done though!
I sooooo need to organize..well I have done one kids room but now I need to do the girls...she has so much stuff!
