Gone for 6 days~

It's Thursday...in two weeks my son is one year older (and he claims "wiser")! He has soccer camp starting today. He will meet with his trainer and begin conditioning. Full of excitement and ready to go!

He was doing sit ups last night as I walked in. He told me he thinks he needs to take down all these Lego ships b/c they shake when he does push ups. So my response was "Stop doing push ups".....but he said he was fine to pack them up! oh....it ripped me inside!

On Saturday, I pick him up from camp and he is off to an all boy birthday sleepover with Laser Tag attached.

Then early Sunday morning, I will have his suitcase in the van and pick him up b/c he is leaving for 6 days to Michigan! He is going on up with his Papa and going to a fly fishing "school" + excursion on the river. He is thrilled...he already has his fly fishing glasses out and hat.

I will miss him-

(so I am trying to think of some fun "girl" things we can do)

My youngest turns 5 next week....oh just give me kleenex, please!

I don't know if I can keep coming here if you tell anymore scary stories like this one! Put away the Legos?!! Perish the thought.

My babies start kindergarten in a week and a half and my oldest is going to be a third grader?! Sigh. Where did the time go?

They do grow up so fast, don't they?
Wow, sounds like your boy has an exciting week ahead.
Enjoy the girly things with your daughter!

How sad! I think that is why I had so many at once - hoping I'll be ready for them to grow up!! haha {just kidding!}

Oh, these times are getting here fast aren't they?
My son will be 12 in Nov. & he has been gone more this summer & it's been difficult for me. When your job is mothering & they're not around to "mother" as much - it's sad.
I'll be thinking of you & fly fishing sounds like lots of fun - mine would love it.

Your son is becoming a young man...heartbreaking, isn't it? You think turning 5 brings on the tears? Just wait till they become teenagers and see how fast time goes by! Thinking of ya!

Oh, my heart feels like yours! My son has taken a liking to sit ups and wanting his tummy to be more defined....sniff... :o) The Legos are played with less and less, plus all the stuffed animals are now in the attic. This is a little boy who even had a favorite one up until this past year. Another sniff. He is turning 14, but each day passes way too fast for me!

I know how you feel. My daughter just had me redo her room and get rid of all her American Girl dolls and accessories. Of course, I only put them away in the basement. Can't part with them.

Time goes by so quickly.

Fun girl things~spa night/day~movie night/day~craft time. I loved doing all of these with my daughter.

Children grow up too quickly, don't they? Each year brings so many changes...I hope, though, that you have a blast with your girls! We had a girls weekend a couple of weeks ago, and it was fun! :)

I hope you have a great weekend! :)
