"Stir and Season" Saturday

Hello there my weekend bloggers! I finally pulled out that "Stir and Season" jpg. and decided to post a recipe. Summer is ending here and I guess I should start pulling out those pots and pans instead of the Chinese delivery phone #!

This is a family favorite...given to me by a dear friend who loves to cook and shares her recipes freely!

Just make sure you have defrosted chicken... {that is always a problem here..maybe b/c I usually think about dinner at 4:10p.m.}

Garlic Chicken

4 boneless, skinless chicken breat

3 fresh cloves of garlic (finely chopped)

1/2(maybe a little more) stick of butter

1 tsp. of dill

salt and pepper to taste

Over low medium heat...melt butter in a big frying pan;

Cut up chicken into small pieces and put in melted butter; throw in the garlic and seasonings; Cook over medium heat until done; tossing frequently.

Serve over a bed of rice with steamed veggies. Enjoy!

mmm...it's so yummy!

That sounds wonderful Sandy. I will have to try it, I need some help in the cooking department. You are so good at it my goodness. Maybe when my kids are a little bigger I will have more time.
