My husband went back to the area we moved from two years ago. He took some pictures {A LoT} of one of the towns we lived in. It truly is one quaint town with a square....cute shoppes and the most amazing old homes that are kept with love.
I remember strolling my "babies" up to the square to get an egg salad sandwich at the drugstore. Yep, it had the old fashion counter where you could get "homemade" sandwiches and a chocolate shake while you twirl around the old "steel" circle seats...true vintage!
After, lunch you could shop in the stores or stroll off to the library and check out books. Of course, I always went the long way home to look at the houses. Our house was built in 1851 but some were much older and much grander!

Before we got married, I lived in a quaint little town south of Atlanta- "home of Gone With the Wind!" How appropriate, huh? That's what mom named me after! :)

Now, that's MY kind of town! Those houses are gorgeous!
What a beautiful town. I wished that the town square everywhere was still booming and people walked to it because we all live in close proximity.

Soooooo pretty! I'm a sucker for a Town Square. When we moved here from Colorado - every time I got "homesick" Brian and I would go downtown and stroll the square. We still do and its so nice. :D Thanks for sharing the gorgeous pics!
I love it! We live in the county seat, so our city has a courthouse square. In fact, I was just up there yesterday. They are so much fun to walk around. I could go for an egg salad sandwich! ;)

My husband and I love it there and try and spend as much time as possible there! It has the quaint feeling to go with the look, doesn't it? I found your blog by hopping around tonight and absolutely love your blog name!
