It's worth every popsicle "delivery"-

Last night, I just fell into my bed around 11:30p.m.- I didn't know if I should close my eyes or cry when I hit that bed. I was just so tired physically and tired emotionally from "worry". Which I know "worry" accomplishes nothing...it is just wearing on the soul.

It has been a full 48 hours of popsicle delivery, changing DVD's, filling up water bottles and gatorade, cleaning sheets and spraying lysol. Not to mention taking temperatures, passing out "motrin" then taking temperatures again-

When I pulled back the sheets...I found this-

It was a surprise b/c my little one is so sick..I wonder when she did this! It was worth everything and more that I did that day.

Today, I felt re-energized to pass out more popsicles and fluff more pillows...

Bless you, Sandy Toes. Hope and pray everyone is better very soon. Just remember these are the memories your children will recall. It is hard work being such a great mom, it is the most important job in the world, though. Keep whispering your prayers for strength. You are doing a greaat job!

I loved reading this post!!! It's the little things like the note from your child that make it all worth while. I just felt the love that your child has for you coming from that note.

What a sweet story! Sometimes kids know just what we need when we are so frazzled and at the end of our ropes. Little kids are the best! I hope everyone gets better soon and that you don't get it.
Thanks again for for stopping by my blog!

Ugh. I'm sorry you've been going through all that. What a sweet drawing! I could use a pick-me-up like that right now. Sigh.

How completely wonderful is that! So sorry she is so sick. It really is hard to be the mom and to have to take care of everyone.
Thanks for coming by my blog today.

Oh boy do I feel for you. I do hope you can get some good rest. Your kids are just so cute! I love the note your daughter left you (oh melt my heart)

My brother came down with it last Friday. He went to the doctors Monday evening because he has terrible asthma and all they gave him was cough medicine with codeine. (this NEVER works for me so I was in shock this is all they gave him/not Tamiflu)
Anyway, after just one night he said he already feels so much better!
I do hope your kids get well over night too!
Take care,
Robin~♥

That's so cute! Hope your little one is feeling better soon. My son is ill and he won't take his antibiotics. I'm desperate, on the verge of a nervous breakdown; that's why I'm here- to chill out a bit.
Hang in there.
