"Recession" Fall Decorating Part 2

This next tip is EASY and CHEAP. I love this look and I think it is very dramatic. You can do this in a {small} version or a {LARGE} version!

Get out {if you already put them away} your planter urns! I buy little pumpkins that are just about double the size of the {urn} and place them on top. I usually put a pair together.

I set them on tables or my kitchen island. They look great on the front porch or by the entrance of your garage.

Sometimes with the bigger urns and pumpkins, I will put pine tree branches or berry branches then put the pumpkin on top. Twigs look great under the pumpkins too!

If You DON'T have urns use PLANTERS. They look great too with a pumpkin on top especially with some green moss underneath. The ideas are endless!

Pumpkins are about $.75 to $5.00 and use the Planters or Urns you already have! It will look great and it's easy!

These ideas are great. I liked the previous one too. I asked my greengrocer if she could find some pumpkins for decoration and she said she'd ask around. I'm thinking of starting a tradition here to mark autumn. At the moment we're having 27 degrees C in the afternoon.

Well hello...
It is random because I am never on this and I thought today...I should start a new blog...and I looked at the one "On the Verge" that I had attempted to keep up (i only started it to keep up with my sisters!) and i saw your comment. I wrote it like 6 months ago prob...but i think your comment was a week ago unless my computer is mistaken. what a divine intervention:) you grad from there too? i just got out:) kind of missing it not going to lie. well, the social aspect...not so much the academics!
