From The Top of Tree...

My kids have lots of hiding spots...tents, under beds, in the closet talking down the vent to the "brother", under tables, Step 2 plastic houses...even a tree or two-

Sometimes I wish I had a {special} hiding spot...well, sometimes the bathroom if I lock the door or sometimes I may take a magazine and read it in the laundry room. It takes a while for them to find you with the dryer on....you can honestly say "You didn't hear them!"-

Being an adult is {good} but sometimes I could be a child for a day- I forget what it looks like from the {top } of a tree...what about you???

Yep, we all have to have our own quiet spot just to "get away" even for a few minutes!

How true!! I could always use a few minutes of hiding.

Soo funny - I was just saying on the phone to a friend last night that I have no where to go and hide to get away from all the noise and craziness!

I would like to be in the tops of that tree today. LOL The bathroom isn't working and its my good ole stand by hiding place. ;D Maybe the closet it next but there is no lock on that door.

Cute picture too by the way.

My big walk in closet...Seriously, I'm thinking about putting a comfortable chair in there. It already has a medium sized fridge/freezer. My laptop is wireless, so I am set. Yes, my kids are older, but I think it gets worse as they get older!!! My husband and I are always running away on day trips just to get some alone time together!! :)

I used to climb trees all the time as a kid. That hiding spot wouldn't work anymore - I would probably fall out!

The only time I have quiet away time is when they are sleeping, I get a sitter or I sneak away for a bit when hubby is home. I cant wait to be in a big enough home to have an away place.

I need a few minutes of mine own when I get home from school. It's amazing what 20 minutes can do for an attitude adjustment!

I hide in my closet when I need some peace and quiet, but usually they find me!!

I might have to try the laundry room next!

I hate that I don't have kids, but I do appreciate my "alone" time!

I use to love to climb trees! Totally afraid that I would fall and break something now. I think everybody needs some alone time.

I try to hide in the laundry room too! Wouldn't it be fun to climb a tree!

Can I just be a kid for the day. When we play hide and seek, the bathroom is where I hide. It's the only room in our home that has a lock on the door. Sad huh? God Bless!

OH, this reminded me about a place where my sister and I used to play for hours on end up under the boughs of two huge pine trees! YES, I would love to have a place to go hide for at least 5 minutes!!! haha! I'm always telling my husband that I just want to go dig a hole in the back yard and stick my head in it for half an hour - HAHA!

I used to climb trees all the time when I was a kid. I'd give anything to be able to do that now! I just might never come down!

I think we all feel that way from time to time. I would probably hide in the closet... though I might just smother under a mountain of stuff. ;-)

I wish I could still climb trees!

And, I really love the shower as a "hiding" place. Not that I really have anything/ anyone to hide from. You know.
