In the early morning...

...you hear a rush of pitter patter going down the stairs...some have their teeth brushed...some don't...half dressed...maybe combed hair and then again maybe not....

Its a rush to our Advent calendar box...it has a little goodie for each day like gum, candy canes, chocolates, chap stick, tic tacs and whatever else I find standing in the grocery line.

Plus

a piece of our playmobile {snow} scene each day...

It's so simple and between the 3 of them they have done it for 10 years but it's NEVER old...it's just as exciting as the first day my 1 year old son opened door #1!

This is {CHRISTMAS}...nothing could be sweeter~

I love that as well-there is nothing sweeter, for sure.
I wanted to tell you, we got our Jesse Tree in the mail last week, and it has been so wonderful! It has been a great time of family devotions at dinner...Thank you for sharing that on your blog-

What a fabulous tradition for your children. One that they will pass on to their children one day. So sweet.♥

My daughter is only 15 months old, but already she LOVES our advent calendar... I foresee problems if we ever have another, there will be fighting for who gets to put Santa's "toy" in his bag (or, maybe the purchse of a second calendar!).

That is so sweet. My daughter is 16 and not into it anymore but my son still loves it. To him the Advent calendar is still great.
