Mr. Sandy Toes {special} tree~

My husband is a {Huge} football fan...I don't even know how many {fantasy} football teams he plays on. He has an enormous amount of football ornaments. As a matter of fact, I think every year SOMEONE buys him a Colt ornament.

After years of football ornaments on our main tree, I came up with an idea for him to have his own tree. It's tacky, it's Blue...It's Shiny and full of footballs, players and jersey ornaments. I even found a football mini-skirt for the bottom.

However,

It's his own {little} tree and Now when I look at our family tree...I don't stare into the

eyes of Peyton Manning!

Do you have ornaments that need a {special} home or "tree"???

Nope, we just make our big tree tacky and put on every different kind of ornament we have.

I love how you 'fixed' this problem. We have some football ornaments too...somehow they mysteriously never make it onto the tree. Can you say tacky??? 'orange and teal' for Christmas??? Why do the Miami dolphins have to have the worst colors????

LOL at that blue tree! Love your creative solution. Fortunately, we don't have that problem. At least not yet!

Shouldn't there be some Bengal ornaments on there as well? :)

There is one certain Auburn hat ornament that hangs on our tree, but since I decorate the tree, somehow it always ends up in the back...not sure why....

What a perfect tree for your hubby! My husband's would be covered with Dallas Cowboys "stuff". We just basically put all the ornaments we've collected over the years on one tree.

My mom used to buy me the annual Precious Moments ornament. Finally, a few years ago, I think I made my point and got her to quit! I think they're pretty and cute, but I didn't want them on my big tree, so I bought my daughter a little one and we've used those in her room- cute and girly!

I don't have too many but there are a couple from when the kids were little that were not the king I like but they are the ones they chose. Although my son said something about a Transformers ornament this year and I had to put my foot down and say no way!! LOL~That would definitely need it's own tree. Now that they are older I do like them to choose ornaments that mean something special about Christmas or our family.

too cute! We only have one tree at our house, but this is a great idea for all of those "special" ornaments.
