In the {snow}

Our first {snow} day was, well, full of snow, sledding, red fingers and toes, snowmen and marshmallows. My kids spent almost the whole afternoon out there. I had to drag them in or should I say {tempt} them in with hot chocolate and lots of marshmallows!

We also {walked} to our local school which has the {BEST} sledding hill..it's steep and fast! My five year old was flying...I was waiting for sparks to fly out from under her sled.

How do you play in the snow?

We had a white Christmas this {past} year and we made snow angels, snowballs, an awesome snowman and even snow cream!! SO much fun!

It sure looks like you guys had the time of you life! Love Mr. Snowman~♥

Our family is a major snowboarding group. When the snow flies the boards magically appear on top of the vehicle ready to go! :)

Yippee!

I was hoping we'd have a snow day today...darn it, we don't!

I grew up in Alaska so I'm used to lots and lots of snow. We used to build big forts & houses (kid size), go sledding, snowshoeing, skiing or just snuggle up inside in a cozy warm blanket.

We only get hurricane days..and there is no playing in those.

Sadly, we don't get much snow here. When we lived in Boston we made snowmen, snow cream, and snow angels. And sledded. And had snowball fights...all the fun stuff you're supposed to do when it snows, I guess.

Great snow pictures and your snow man turned out cute!
I don't play in the snow much. I'm a cold weather wimp!

What fabulous pictures in your snow! Well, when we got our 6 1/2 inches we built a snowman and threw some snowballs. We don't have all the snow gear (cause we rarely get any snow and not an accumulation like that) so we were freezing pretty quickly. If we had the right clothing, boots, etc. I think the sledding would be FUN!!

Too much fun! We were promised 3 inches of snow, but instead a dusting and ice is all we have! :-( Maybe we'll get a blanket of snow soon. In the meantime, throw a snowball for me & my dumplins please. ;-)

We live in Wisconsin and have too much snow! I personally don't like it. I know, what a shame you say. The kids love to go sledding and I am always inside ready with the hot chocolate when they come in.

Love it! Of course I love the idea of the hot chocolate with marshmallows more than anything. Not much of a cold weather girl...but I love to enjoy it from the inside, in front of the fireplace! :)
