A little {jumping}

This weekend, my daughter's jump rope team went out of state for a competition. It was a lot of fun....

Staying in a hotel, having dinner with friends, being part of a competition with teams from all over...it was exciting for everyone!

Getting ready for the competition- all the girls french braid their hair. I am still learning how to french braid...I can't get it as tight as some can!

My daughter getting ready to compete in the single "speed" event.

It was a great time. After, my daughter and I visited some "old" college friends....

Really I should be the one calling myself "old"....they were talking about different things in college and I didn't remember ANY of it. It was crazy!

I've always thought that anyone who jumps rope competitively must be in extraordinary shape. And that is precisely why I don't jump rope at all.

I do wish I could do a better French braid :/

That sounds like such a blast! Yes, please tell us how she did! Just so you know, I can't French braid, either!

I'm thinking what a great time that would be! I hope she did well. And I, like you, could never master the french braid. ugh. ~Mindy

WHat?? That is just the FUNNEST thing I have ever heard of! How neat!!! I can't French braid at all...but maybe that is why God gave me boys...a girls hair would be a mess every day here...

Sounds like such a fun trip. Yes french braiding can be quite difficult. I had to master it when Sadie was Dorothy for Halloween!
