I read this {idea} in a magazine a couple of years ago...the kids and I sat around the table and wrote {ideas} of activities we could do over the summer.
Of course, at first they had some spectacular ideas and costly! So quickly I had to set some parameters for each activity...
*creative
*free or very cheap
*something we all could do together!
We came up with a pretty good list and every one was ReallY excited about it. I am looking forward to doing our first thing! Last day of school is Thursday!

I'd forgotten all about the list! I made one last summer. I think it's a great boredom buster. We visited a lot of places last summer that we otherwise might not have.
I think I will do this with my kids today! This is a great idea!
That sounds like an awesome idea I love it and may have to use it with my own kids. we tend to sit aroundsometimes during summer because we dont have anything to do. This summer we are in a new land with tons of exploring to be done. I think this is a wonderful idea andcould definitely cure the I'm bored's I hear on a constant basis.
Isn't it wonderful and the best memories are not ones where we spent a lot of money! Summer!
