pancakes for dinner?

this is just a crazy week...getting ready for our trip to my parents cottage in Michigan.....my husband's new boss is flying in tomorrow and coming for dinner (ahhhhhhhhhh!)....

i took all 3 kids grocery shopping. it has been a long times since "we" all went. I ended up buying things...I never ever buy including confetti pancakes. I know they should just put "Sugar-loaded" pancakes with less than 1% of vitamins.

The cherry on top is that after a busy day...I served those confetti pancakes for dinner.

{ i don't feel an inch of guilt}

And you shouldn't feel guilty!!! I bet the kids LOVED it! My daughter spent the night at my mom's last night. This morning at breakfast my lovely daughter said "No" to everything my mom offered her. My mother finally gave her a glass of milk and Little Debbie Swiss Cake Rolls!!! Oh well....sometimes it's just the way it is! :)

Oh well - one day can't hurt!
Where are you going in Michigan? I live between Grand Rapids and Grand Haven. There are lots of cottages near the lake!

lol! I bet the kids loved it and THAT joy should erase all the quilt (that and sometimes life is just too hectic!)

We all have *those* days. I'm sure you got big points for the pancakes.

Where are you heading in Michigan? My family has cottages in Lake City, Gaylord and East Tawas.

Happy to hear of a new boss.

Have a blast! We're going to the Creation Museum on Saturday and then heading to MI next week, too. I missed that your husband landed a new job- that's wonderful and I'm rejoicing with you!
