When the kids are in bed...I quietly go out the back door and sit at my pool. It's a great place to read or maybe "catch" a full conversation with Mr. Sandy Toes. If we close the iron gate to loudly...my girls are quick to peek out their windows to watch.
They think it's funny to watch from the windows and knock. Then we sit in the chairs pointing for them to get back in bed and lay down. You know the parent {sign} language that is understood b/t you and your child.
It's the same thing every night...but it's a good "same" thing.
Then the next day we start it all over again....
P.S. Isn't she funny? She loves to wear her daddy's goggles...they are bigger than her face

An evening by the pool with my husband sounds delightful! You're lucky to have that little getaway.
So cute.
I do remember that Mom sign language too. :)
You have a beautiful pool! I remember that sign language too, and used it often!
Yep. We have sign language here, too-
Your pool looks so refreshing...this is the perfect summer for a pool!

How fun to sneak out to your beautiful, relaxing place!! Your pool is beautiful and I know your children LOVE it. Oh, I know that parent sign language well....lol.
Wow you had a pool in your backyard growing up and now your kids have a pool in theirs. How awesome!
We have a pool in our sub and it is great. Our kids are great swimmers because they are able to swim everyday this summer!
Sounds like so much fun.
