One of my favorite "activities" of the week is going to our local Farmers Market on Saturday. I pile the kids in the van and we go! Of course, my kids are always hoping for a delicious, homemade snow cones. The best snow cones I have ever had!
But, our favorite "tent" is a family that makes homemade french bread. The bread is warm and has a hint of oven/bacon taste. We use to buy one but now we are buying two! They also make a Tarragon vinaigrette dressing that is wonderful for dipping!
We usually leave with more than just bread like fresh cantaloupe, lavendar homemade soup and some bean/tomatoe salsa...

Thanks for your kind words and for stopping by the blog I have been neglecting for too long. I remember vividly the first day of kindergarten.... savor the moments as I am sure you are doing!
Like Mari, I wish we had a farmer's market close to our house. We have a 30 minute drive to the closest one. I'd love to able to go daily to see what's fresh that day.....
