They still have the free gifts???

When I was 15 years old, I had my first job. I worked at a Diamond Store. I will always remember my first check. I went to "Hudsons" which is now Macy's and bought skin care by Clinque. I spent my whole check! My mother was so mad at the the lady at Clinque b/c she sold me anti-wrinkle cream at the old age of "15".

But, since having children, it's been over 11 years since I have sat at a department store and actually looked and talked about makeup with a consultant. There was no way with young kids I was going to sit in a chair with a shirt that probaly had lunch on it and talk makeup. Or who can really talk foundation and color when you have two kids in a stroller and they are crying that they are "hungry".

After 11 years, today I sat in that cream Clinique chair. It's been years since I have actually received the free gift! I didn't even know they still did that! Even though the lady did recommend a pen to keep my eyes "young"...another nice way to say "Here is a pen to control your wrinkles or sagging". It felt good.

I was so excited to open my "free gift" when I got home. It's a good one ladies!

...Now I just have to hide it from my girls and "playing" with my makeup! See every "stage" in life has it's things!
