We celebrated Christmas with my parents over Thanksgiving. My son received a "HUGE", "MEGA" set of a Star Wars Lego ship. Since that time, I only see him at meals, leaving for basketball practice, a drink of milk here and there! He has been in his room working on this "mammoth" lego ship for weeks. This set is not sold in stores! It's just huge and comes with every Star Wars lego "figure" made.
Well, it's FINALLY DONE! Pictures do not do this "ship" justice. It has hidden doors...traps...secret rooms! He is very excited to finally have this done. Now I just need to make sure my 4 yr. old doesn't go in there and try to play with it!

What dedication your son demonstrates. I am impressed. I am sure that he will have a ball with that. I love the lego store at Downtown Disney they have amazing lego sculptures.
My AS LOVED legos. We still have all of the sets. . . and he loves Star Wars still today! He would love that lego set :-) Children who love legos are usually excellent math students - that was true here. . .

What a great Lego set! Just got my girls their 1st (way smaller) lego set for Christmas. It's very girly with lots of pink legos!! :) And they also played with it for HOURS and HOURS!!! Gotta love kids using their imaginations!!

That ship had to be $100 and a 100 hours to build. He did SOOOOO good. Those take so much patience and some ability to do that. We love Star Wars here at our house...we have some star wars legos too but nothing that big.

Lego's have been around forever and seem to just keep getting better. I love that kids spend time building things and not just sitting in front of the TV playing games - not saying that games are bad- I just like to see them doing other things.

I LOVE legos. They keep the kids out of trouble (from fighting). Except that I won't see my kitchen table for a few days. I make the kids create them on the table..for fear of the dogs eating the pieces.
My son is that big a fanatic over his train layouts. They're all so complex and intresting, especially considering he's 6.
My Hubby still loves his legos and would be impressed by your son's work!

I can only imagine the price tag on that set. When we went to WDW, they have a lego store and all of those Star War Lego things were so expensive! My husband was drooling and actually called his Dad to ask if he would buy our son a $500 set. I am going to have to show him your son's piece.

Oh that takes me back...When my son was younger he loved Lego's! It was the same story...He would get some for a gift and we wouldn't see him for days! I remember it like it was yesterday and he is 22 years old now!
