I was making a meal for a family in our church who had their Ninth baby (i think it's '9')! Decided to make my sour cream chocolate chip cake. It is so good and moist plus it makes your house smell delicious and "homey"!
I did have to cut the pieces up to give to the family b/c MY family would die if I didn't have some left over!
Here is the recipe: It's a perfect after school treat with a big cup of cold milk!
Sour Cream Chocolate Chip Cake:
6 T of melted butter
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs
1 and 1/3 cup of flour
1 t of baking soda and cinnamon
1.5 t of baking powder
8 oz of sour cream and 6 oz of semi sweet chocolate chips
Blend together butter and sugar in a bowl; add eggs and mix well and set aside. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon in a separate bowl. Add to butter mixture with sour cream; mix well; Pour into a greased and floured 13 by 9 pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips on top. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes, until golden and toothpick is clean. Serves 10-12

I love new recipes!
I'm a sucker for a house that smells good. Sometimes to motivate myself when the house is a wreck, I light a candle or boil some spices. It always perks me up and makes me want to match the way the house looks with the way it smells!
oh I so don't need to make any more wonderfully delicious sweets, but you sure are making that a challenge.
henry would love that!
on to your coffee cup - you're not one of those people b/c you never say - MY HOUSE IS A WRECK.
