Juice boxes...I love them! I also love the organic chocolate milk found in boxes for kids! LOVE THEM! I DREAM ABOUT THEM! If I talk about them, I may want one!Well, after my 2nd chocolate milk one day, I thought maybe I should see how many calories are in one little itsy bitsy organic chocolate milk box!
190 CALORIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In a matter of 10 minutes, I just guzzled 380 calories! I could of had a meal for that!
It was shocking!
It was almost appalling! oH bUt So gOOd!
Ever had one of those 'calorie' shocker moments????

I try so hard not to drink my calories and most days I do all water. But, sometimes I need caffeine for breakfast and diet is just nasty!
We have this in common! i love drinks...growing up i would get full off of my drinks before i'd even get my food and the mother would get mad ;) Everyday i always stop to get something yummy to drink.
LOL! I've tried those milks in a box...definitely not my favorite. Wayyyyy too sweet for my taste. I have serious snacking issues though...especially between lunch and dinner. A handful of crackers here...and yogurt there...maybe a piece of fruit...all add up very quickly! Sigh. I'll never be able to lose any weight if I keep up all that stupid snacking!
I added up the calories in my salad the other da, and was shocked, too!
160 for 2T Poppyseed dressing
160 for sunflower kernals
120 for dried cranberries (might not have used the full serving here!)
But that was just the topping! And I had dinner too! And desert...
It really adds up,,
I am trying to stick to water after my morning coffee because of this. If I am going to get tons of calories...I want to chew them. ;)
ps. I do like choc. milk as a treat.

After my son was born, I couldn't figure out why the pounds weren't dropping off like they had with my first. I mean, I was eating healthy banana chips by the handful, right? When I looked, they were slathered in coconut oil and the fat grams were unbelievable! After those went, so did the pounds! :)
Is it really bad if you don't look on purpose??!!
For me, I Know it is the creamer I add to my coffee-If there are thirty or so calories in a tablespoon, what is it if you add half a cup of creamer???
I am not adding it up on purpose...
Oh my gosh, I think that's so funny that you love drinks that much.
Not to make you feel worse, but I am actually very conscious of drinks so I don't consume many cals from beverages. Except alcoholic ones. And my coffee with skim milk in the morning. Otherwise, it's all water. I can't stand all the stuff on the market, loaded with sugar! Hah.

i really try to drink ZERO calories and save mine for the good stuff (cake, ice cream...) but here is a shocker... i got a text from my best jr. high friend telling me that an Uno's personal cheese pizza is over 2500 calories. and has more saturated fat than 98 oreo cookies. eek! do you know how many of their pizzas i have eaten in the past???
Yeah, I've had a calorie shock moment many times. And then last night, I had a bathroom scale shock moment. So, guess who's cutting back for a while??
But I do love beverages!
See I'm the opposite, I don't drink many calories at all. But I do have to say my recent first taste of Starbuck's hot chocolate was divine. I don't know if I can give 190 calories to a little box of chocolate milk!
Too funny!! I try not to look at calories. I try to eat healthy and when I indulge I close my eyes to that information. LOL
