To all My Dear Readers~

Happy Memorial Weekend! This holiday before we sit down and take a bite out of our hot dog or heat up the grill. Talk with your loved ones about the meaning of this Holiday-

Let us pass it on to our children that our soldiers died for the freedom of the red, white and blue!

It's the least we can do~

You are so right on this. Lots of our holidays lose their meaning after time....must keep it REAL.

There is a church right next to our neighborhood and their sign this week has read "Their job was to serve and ours is to remember" I liked that.

Memorial Day sounds like the American equivalent of ANZAC Day over here. Interesting. :)

I made one of those ice cream sandwich cakes, but I made mine with crushed M&M's in between the layers, your Whoopers sound good too! I might have to give that try!

The pool party looks fun! I'm glad the teacher was able to stop by for a little bit too
