"Stir and Season" Saturday

Is it me or you too? I do not like to be in the kitchen with a hot oven when it's hot outside. The BBQ is bad enough...I would eat cold pastas all day if I could. This is a favorite rib sauce that you combine all the ingredients then pour over ribs and baste continually while cooking.

Tangy Rib Sauce

1 cup bottled BBQ sauce (sticky fingers is the best)

1/2 cup cayenne pepper sauce

1 t brown sugar

1 t dry mustard

1/2 cup honey

Enjoy with some corn of the cob and fresh strawberry cobbler...oh I love summer!

p.s. Lately, when making a pitcher of lemonade from frozen concentrate. I cut up some fresh strawberries(makes it look quite fancy) and lemon and put it in. It's perfect!!!

Sounds delicious!

I don't mind cooking during the summer. My husband keeps the house so frigid that I welcome a little warmth from the kitchen... LOL!

Awww...you came over last week per my invitation. It was fun to see your "toes" over at my place. Loved the pix of the birthday below. Reminded me of our 'Glory Days' when the kiddos were young.
Great tip about the fresh strawberries in the lemonade...why didn't I ever think of that?
