Back to {normal}

The lunches are made....the shoes are shined...the backpacks are packed-

All is quiet once again and I am sad it's all over again...

I miss those late mornings...cups of hot chocolate...24 hours of staying in our pj's...hours of play...nothing to do and nowhere to go...

{Goodbye} Christmas season....your visits seem to get "shorter and shorter".

Sniff, sniff!

I know exactly how you feel. I'm feeling very sad that today we start back on our normal routine. Our vacation felt so short! We didn't even have two full weeks. sigh.

I do love Christmas break. Good luck getting back into the swing of life!

I know what you mean. Our kids are done with school, so we don't have that kind of break anymore, but today we have to put our son back on a plane to his army base and we go back to normal. It's been great!

Yep, it is hard to believe it passes by so quickly. I was really enjoying sleeping in a bit later. It is back to school for Lexi though....hmmm, maybe I can go back to bed as soon as I get her off....lol

Isn't it so hard because it is nice to get things back to normal but I agree that it goes by way too fast - I also love no schedules and pjs and hot coco.

agreed..
the holiday season, once here, passes way to soon..
normalcy reigns supreme come January.
..but I can and do march to my own drum..
in my jammies til noon, drinking hot cocoa whenever..
warm hugs..laughing smiles..

You make me feel a little guilty, because I am SO not sad. I couldn't wait for our schedule to resume. It's just chaos without it. I guess that makes me no fun :( I like the photos with your text. Happy Monday!

It was tough to get back in the swing of things around here. I could have used another week or month of vacation.

We were trying to get back into a normal routine today, too. It is difficult. Our vacation was filled with sadness this year and made it difficult to enjoy anything. It still was not easy to get up today and try to do our normal things.
