I love Valentines...it's just a {cheery} day usually in midst of snow and foggy mornings! When I think of this holiday...I think {homemade}. I don't think I have every bought a Valentines decoration. Well, maybe candy hearts to put around a candle.
I did a simple, easy, peasy Valentine garland. You just need some of your favorite scrap paper, one needle, thread {I used a hot pink} and ribbon.
First, you cut out hearts (about the size of your hand)...they don't have to be exact! Then thread a needle and sew through each heart. 
Then spread the thread out with your hearts to decide how long you want it. Last, take ribbon (about 6 inches) and tie a piece in front and back of each heart. This keeps them in their {spot}. Hang it up!
woila...a little Valentine {love}! Super cute and kids could help too!

Homemade crafts are the best! We do the same for Valentines and mostly Halloween too! I think simple is better with these holidays. I get my kids to help and we make lots of paper hearts, and whatever we can come up with from our art cabinet. Its so much fun, and it doesn't cost hardly anything. We even make little valentines mailboxes out of paper, and I think they are way cuter than the ones at the store, because the kids make them their own! They also take up no space, (recycle) which I like! Well cute hearts, love to hear someone enjoys the homemade crafts as well.
