My very own "tool" man

There is great "relief" in my house now...I use to stress out when I bought something that had to be put together. Mr. Sandy Toes does not enjoy that type of stuff. But, now I have my son!

What is even better is that he doesn't even need directions. He has put furniture together for me, bikes, equipment...he even fixed my sink!

Really no one has taught him...he just knows...he just "sees" it while I am still fumbling on page 2 not knowing side A from side B.

I enjoy watching him...he reminds me of his great grandfather. He could fix and build anything...he just did it!

I tell my son..."One day, you are going to make your wife a happy lady"...

Does he travel? As soon as my husband leaves for sea something breaks.

You are SO right ~ he will make a woman very happy one day.

I find it fascinating how some men/boys just know how to make things work! I love seeing it in action!

Until he makes a wife a happy lady, he gets to make you a happy mom! ;)

That is so sweet!
So far, I am the one with the tool belt around here...My oldest is trying to be a help, but he isn't there yet...and my husband-forget about it!!! I love him, but I sure didn't marry him for his ability to put together things...Ugh!

Sounds like he has a real natural talent! And, what a good mom you are, to nurture it!

So nice when the kids can help out like that! Computer fixing is always a skill I need help on!

Oh, you are so lucky! My husband is very handy, like your son, and has always filled that place for his mom, since his dad is very un-handy. So I can definitely attest that your son will make some woman very happy someday!! :)

How lucky are you! I can't wait until my little guy gets older - I never get my husbands help because he is already so busy! I always need little things done that I have no attention span for!

Sweet!

I'm fortunate that my husband can fix almost anything....

(but that only helps if he's home and not traveling! LOL!)
