I found the "note" in my garden

My next door neighbor is retired...we hope they do not move! It's a grand ole house that has the most amazing gardens. He even has a bridge that crosses his property with the most amazing flowers.....the entire property is full of just amazing gardens.

Behind all it's foliage is an amazing in ground pool with a waterfall and a "spa" that flows into the main pool. They are super nice neighbors and enjoy my kids and all their {100} questions when they are out. There is a {wall} of trees that separate our property but they peek their heads through-

Come to find out( I never knew) that my red head wrote {Mr. Jim} a note and stuck in his front garden bed...

Dear Mr. Jim,

Can we swim in your pool one day?

A couple weeks later, Mr. Jim comes over and tells my daughter he received her note-

So guess who just got back from the neighbors pool? Yep, even let her cut some flowers for a bouquet.

So sweet!

Isn't great to have such wonderful neighbors ~ they make all the difference. How cute that she wrote him a note {wonderful manners} and that he even let her bring home a gift.

These are the best posts!

I love this story! It reminds me a touch of The Mitford series books, peeking through the hedgerow to visit. Love the picture. I imagine the red head and the neighbors are imbarking on some wonderful memory making. ~Mindy
