Nucleus, cell walls, DNA, RNA....we are studying anatomy in Science and Classical Conversations.
We have been talking about cells and made a jello, edible "cell". Just a little jello and candy and "Woila!"...a cell! The candy represents all the parts of the cells. It really brought the "parts" of the cell alive to my girls.

Plus they loved EATING the cell after we were done...nothing like eating a "nucleus" made out of sugar!
