Here a few pictures of my mantel. This year, I did more of a "warm" and "cozy" mantel. Last year, I was all into the glitter and the "glow". I have a plaid ribbon intertwined with the lit garland. I bought these cute felt "mitten" ornaments and hung them on with berry balls on both ends.Are you like me? I have been around the blogsphere looking at some AWESOME garlands and I want to sell all of mine on Ebay and start a new. However, that is not possible, so I change up just a few things and it feels new!!!New ribbon, a couple new ornaments....woila..a different look!
Do you want an EASY craft to do with your kids? Make snowflakes..they are so festive and fun!!! All you need are paper and scissors. Add a little glitter and your windows can be a winter wonderland!!! So fun...I made a few, too!!!

What a beautiful mantle.... I use to have 2 fireplaces in my house before we sold it to our daughter... now she has them... LOL LOL anyways decorating the mantles was always my favorite part of the holidays... you did great... I loved it... Have a wonderful Monday

So beautiful. Love the mantle look....no mantle here, cause we have no need for a fireplace....shucks, that would be nice at this time of year though. My little one was making snowflakes just yesterday....still picking up the paper off the kitchen floor. :)

Warm and cozy is the way to go! I am working on decorations today. This is the first year we have a mantle as we just moved this summer. It is so fun to decorate!

I can just feel the warmth of the fire, taste the hot coffee (maybe because that’s what I’m drinking now) and hear the sound of laughter coming from that room. It does look very inviting.

Sandy Toes, I got those little trees from Home Depot. The good thing is that they are little rosemaries so I can replant them.
