A minute after 5:59.

6:00p.m.- please don't come to my house!

It's the hour - that EVERYTHING around here gets CRAZY, busy, keeping dinner warm, MULTI-tasking, Homework QUESTIONS, Dinner On Table, Phone Ringing, gathering up water bottles for practice, looking for "our" soccer ball, grading spelling, enforcing kid "jobs", washing dishes, making lunches, reading with kids, listening to stories about kindergarten, setting tables(or teaching to set the table)....

Every day around 7:45...it settles down again. After 9:00...everyone is in bed and I forget about the "6 o'clock" hour until tomorrow and it's 5:59p.m. again.

Do you have times of the day that are just CrAzY in your house?

Definitely...about the time Abby steps off the school bus at 4:25 PM and Chris is winding up his workday. CRAZY, for sure!

I just got caught up on all your recent posts!!!
Please show how you redo your sons rooms-my boys (my 4th grader, I mean-) are complaining about being in a baby room these days too. I am going to quote Sally with the bridge comment! ;)
And the crazy time here is 7 am to 7:15 am. That is when every one is getting ready to leave for the day. Coats? snow bag? Lunch? Homework? Are your shoes on YET?? Backpack??? I am not a happy girl as I try to get everyone out by 7:15-I started giving them a piece of candy if they are in the car on time. Terrible, I know, but so far--no one still has any caveties!
:)

I found your blog through a comment you made "somewhere". Now I don't know where I saw it (sorry). Anyway, I have a little crush on your blog and I'm following you. Have a great day! P.S. The word verification I had to type in to leave this comment was "scxualis", hee hee....that sounds dirty.

Whew...that does sound pretty busy! Without kids we don't experience much craziness around here. For the most part our house is very quiet.
