The editors and contributors of the "Country Living" magazine did presentations ranging from "painting furniture" to serving "brunch". My mom and I stopped around 11 or so and had wonderful tomatoe/feta baked bread. A simply wonderful, fall day surrounded by delightful things...
Here are some of our treasures that we could not leave without....
I have been looking for a little bench...found the perfect one. I love these type of gourds..bumpy but beautiful.
One of my favorite booths was a french country shabby decor...great tin(not sure what I am doing with it).
My mom bought this sign. It use to be a sign in a state park about their pine trees. It is perfect for my mom with her rustic decor.
This booth was "jammed"...these two ladies called the "Farm Chicks" make wonderful jewerly with vintage wallpaper! Love it!
**Mom...thank you for a wonderful time...there is noone I would rather share this day with!

Oh my gosh~ you had a blast and came away with some neat-o things! I have 2 enamel ware buckets with lids and I use them in my bathrooms for trash cans believe it or not! You can pop a fall feather tree in it, too! Fun, fun, fun stuff! Happy rest of your weekend~ Les
soooo jealous! I was flipping through my October issue today!

Sounds like you and your mom had a wonderful time together and found a lot of great things. I love fairs like that and I always come back with something, whether I need it or not. :)
Ooooh that looked like an awesome fair. I have read about it in their magazine. So glad you had a fun day with your mom!
Hi Sandy Toes-this is Ruby Red Slippers! I stumbled onto your site somehow(looking for a recipe for my crockpt, I think. Very Cool site. I am just putting my blog together, and am finding so many neat ideas on many.
PS. Look at my picture, we grew up together! I recognized your kids, and then looked around your blog, and saw lots of things in your house that I have in mine...too funny... Love your ideas, and decorating! I too use red, birds, and a glue gun!
Oh, I'm so jealous!:) I've been wanting to attend this for a while now. It looks like so much fun!
Oh, I have been wanting to go to this since I first saw it advertised a year or two ago. Thanks for sharing a little bit, maybe they will be near us at some point!
Ya'll found some treasures, I really like the bench.
Your tassels down below turned out really good.
Thanks for commenting on my blog! Funny thing-My mom stopped by and saw the letter picture this afternoon and wants to give them to people as Christmas gifts. After she left, I saw your comment about the same thing. Great minds think alike! Your blog looks wonderful. I can't wait to read it. It is so exciting to discover new and interesting blogs!
Great finds! I especially love that snowman plate. Sooo cute!
Thanks for stopping by my blog...hope you'll come back again. I am SO JEALOUS that you went to the Country Living Fair. Every year I look at my calendar to try to make a trip work and it just never does. Also love your "shells and sand" philosophy.
Ooo...not fair! I would have loved to go to that! You guys got some neat stuff.
By the way..I love the Farm Chicks!
I was there, too! It was heaven!!
Looks like you both had a wonderful time. I moved 300 miles away from my Mom and it's a bummer.
I drove the 300 miles last weekend to go to a barn craft show with her-It was a bust-They had very little crafts but it was still great being with mom!
Love all your buys,
Robin~♥
P.S. Love your music!
You lucky things...living close enough to attend. Thanks for sharing your treasures. The two pumpkins at the end look like the ones my friends and I have been making over the last few days. On my post I tell where to find the tutorial.
Happy Fall,
M.L.
Oh, I would have loved to go to that. You got some great stuff.
I am so jealous you were close enough to go to the Country Living fair! I saw that it was in Columbus, ironic since I would have been able to go, until a few years ago. I love your photos!! And the Loveland Castle seems like a lot of fun too...I never made it there while I lived in Ohio. Bummer!
Carrie
Oh goodness, what fun! I am trying so very hard not to covet your time at the Country Living Fair. How wonderful! I am addicted to Fall and shabby chic, so it would be such a place for me too.
