Country Living FAIR 08' Or Bust...

My mom and I went to the "Country Living" Fair near Columbus today. What a great time we had and found some wonderful treasures to bring home. The entire fairgrounds are decorated with beautiful fall folliage and every type of gourd you can imagine! We shopped, gathered ideas and shopped some more!
The editors and contributors of the "Country Living" magazine did presentations ranging from "painting furniture" to serving "brunch". My mom and I stopped around 11 or so and had wonderful tomatoe/feta baked bread. A simply wonderful, fall day surrounded by delightful things...

Here are some of our treasures that we could not leave without....

I have been looking for a little bench...found the perfect one. I love these type of gourds..bumpy but beautiful.
One of my favorite booths was a french country shabby decor...great tin(not sure what I am doing with it).
My mom bought this sign. It use to be a sign in a state park about their pine trees. It is perfect for my mom with her rustic decor.

This booth was "jammed"...these two ladies called the "Farm Chicks" make wonderful jewerly with vintage wallpaper! Love it!

**Mom...thank you for a wonderful time...there is noone I would rather share this day with!

Thanks for commenting on my blog! Funny thing-My mom stopped by and saw the letter picture this afternoon and wants to give them to people as Christmas gifts. After she left, I saw your comment about the same thing. Great minds think alike! Your blog looks wonderful. I can't wait to read it. It is so exciting to discover new and interesting blogs!

Looks like you both had a wonderful time. I moved 300 miles away from my Mom and it's a bummer.
I drove the 300 miles last weekend to go to a barn craft show with her-It was a bust-They had very little crafts but it was still great being with mom!
Love all your buys,
Robin~♥
P.S. Love your music!

You lucky things...living close enough to attend. Thanks for sharing your treasures. The two pumpkins at the end look like the ones my friends and I have been making over the last few days. On my post I tell where to find the tutorial.
Happy Fall,
M.L.

I am so jealous you were close enough to go to the Country Living fair! I saw that it was in Columbus, ironic since I would have been able to go, until a few years ago. I love your photos!! And the Loveland Castle seems like a lot of fun too...I never made it there while I lived in Ohio. Bummer!
